Jason Palacios Camacho Obituary

Austin, TX - Jason P. Camacho passed away in his sleep on October 25, 2025. He was born in Victoria, TX on December 18, 1984, to Martin and Sally Camacho and was the youngest of three sons. He is survived by his parents and brothers, Michael Camacho and Ismael Camacho. He graduated from Victoria Memorial High School in 2003.

Jason was known for his warm and magnetic personality. People were drawn to him, and he was loved by many. He loved his family and friends greatly, but above all, he loved music. Over the years, Jason pursued his passion with many Austin music scene bands including Lechuguillas, Glassing, Gossamer Frontier, Windows1995, Daymares, and most recently, Bad Acid. In his later years, he found another passion for training dogs.

Jason brought joy and laughter to the lives of so many people. He was always the funniest person in the room. Jason embraced everyone with a warm and heartfelt hug with every farewell. Along with his parents and brothers, he leaves behind a large extended family and countless human and dog friends. Alas, the beat goes on.

Rest easy, Camacho. You are already missed tremendously.
